Preparation Time: 
  • Take 1 level teaspoon (1g) per cup, place into plunger, china pot or infuser, pour over boiling water and leave to infuse (depending on personal preference) for 1, 2, 3, 5 or up to 10 minutes and strain well

Sensitivity towards St John's Wort. Generally, St John's Wort is not to be taken in conjunction with anticoagulant medication (e.g. Warfarin), Digoxin, Indiavir, Cyclosporin. However Swissmedic (1/2002, pp. 7-8) has exempt crude St John's Wort in tea form from these safety warnings.
